Rally Driving Experience Days: Rally driving experiences have continued to gain in popularity
over the years, as the fast-paced franticness of attempting to
control a powerful rally car around an off road circuit is about as
exciting as it gets in the driving world! With an in-depth session
to get your hands dirty with some of the basic techniques, you'll
be challenged with improving your overall ability under the strict
tutelage of the expert instructor sat next to you! Taking to both
the gravel and tarmac stages, you'll have ample time and all the
facilities you could possibly need to enjoy an authentic full day
of rally driving fun!Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the
centre your day will begin with a thorough safety briefing covering
all aspects of the track and these two rally cars.
Then it's time
to don your race gear and get ready for some serious driving!
You'll move out to the practice area where your instructor will
demonstrate and teach you how to perform handbrake turns, power
slides and pendulum techniques.
This combines steering, braking,
throttle control and car position.
The morning is reserved for the
Escort RS2000 and the gravel stage - and upon completion you'll be
ready to stop for lunch.
The afternoon is spent driving the Subaru
Impreza on the tarmac circuit.
The power, grip and handling is
truly amazing and further improve your understanding and confidence
for Rally Driving.
Your experience will draw to a close with a
debrief covering each participant's progress - before announcing
the 'Top Driver of the Day'! You'll then be free to leave with a
certificate of your day.
A white knuckle passenger ride is available on the day for an
additional fee.
