They’ve made it their mission to preserve the knowledge and skills of Britain’s medieval longbowmen—bringing history to life! Back then, the English longbow took years to master, but with the help of an expert instructor, you’ll learn the basics in just a few hours.
Once they’ve demonstrated the proper technique, you’ll practice shooting arrows against a series of targets at progressively greater distances.
Your instructor will continue to offer tips for improving accuracy, and by the time the sessions concludes, you’ll be amazed how far you’ve come! This is so much more than just an archery lesson, however.
You’ll also spend the day around an authentic medieval encampment; drinking from handmade goblets, donning army surcoats and receiving authentic currency which will be used throughout the day! At lunchtime, you’ll even enjoy a hearty meal of hot pottage accompanied by that rare and exotic spice—pepper!
