learn to bake several traditional treats – including a
walnut-studded pain de campagne, the perfect baguette, and
butter-rich croissants.
You’ll shape rustic boules and batards,
make use of poolish ‘starters’, and practise the tricky art of
‘laminating’ dough to give gorgeously flaky results.
When your
creations head to the oven – and whilst you anxiously await their
reappearance – you’ll enjoy a tour of the working watermill the
class occupies, before the final test of your day’s labour – the
tasting!
