Bird Of Prey Experience Days: Of all the beautiful birds in the sky, owls are perhaps our
favourite, and that’s why we’re delighted to offer this two-hour
handling experience in Kent.
Fellow owl lovers can meet a variety
of stunning species, hold them, and learn more from the centre’s
friendly keepers.
The experience takes place at a top birds of prey centre in
Knockholt, Kent.
On arrival, you’ll be greeted by their experienced
falconers, who’ll begin with a brief introduction.
If you’ve any
questions about the day-to-day running of the place or its other
feathered residents—now’s the time to ask! Next, you’ll be
introduced to several majestic species of owl—including a Bengal
eagle-owl, Eurasian eagle-owl, barn owl and boobook owl.
All have
plenty of experience meeting new people, and they’ll happily allow
you to admire, photograph (without flash) and even hold them! Over
two hours, you’ll learn all about their individual habits and
behaviours, before the session concludes, and you’re free to
explore the centre’s six-acre nature trail at leisure.
