Canadian canoes that seat two to three people, you will embark on a
paddle around the nature reserve exploring the hidden creeks and
spotting the abundance of wild life lead by a fully qualified and
knowledgeable guide.
The estuary is tidal and protected from the
sea meaning the water is usually calm making this a great
experience for beginner paddlers to learn the basics of canoeing
with some fun and games along the way.
Your canoeing experience in
Hampshire will begin with a welcome to the centre where you will be
kitted up with the safety gear and waterproofs.
Your instructor
will then give you a quick safety talk and discuss where you will
go and what you will see on the experience before heading to the
jetty to get into the Canoe's.
The instructor and guide will be on
hand to help you master the correct paddling technique if you have
never done it before, prior to setting off down the river to start
exploring.
After two and a half hours out on the water among the
hidden creeks and wildlife, you will return to the centre where you
will be able to get changed in to warm, dry clothes.
