Bird Of Prey Experience Days: For every budding or experienced photographer of all ages - this
is for you! A unique opportunity to shoot rarely seen and
spectacular birds of prey.
Designed for photographers of all ages
and experience, the courses provide a unique opportunity to
photograph the birds from the centre up close, in a controlled
environment, under the guidance of professional photographer Peter
MacArthur.
You will get the chance to shoot both inside in a studio
setting and of course outdoors.
This is a wonderful gift for those
who would love to spend a day photographing beautiful birds ranging
from Owls, Vultures and Kestrels, to Buzzards and Hawks - a chance
of a lifetime!
Session 1 - The first part of the course is spent inside, using
a studio set-up.
Starting with an introductory talk you have the
chance to photograph a selection of the centre's birds in a
controlled, portrait type, natural setting.
Session 2 - The second session is spent outside around the
centre, where the famous collection of birds are there for you to
photograph.
you will also be given prime positions during the
flying display, to get airborne action shots.
Session 3 - The final session of the day is left open for each
photographer to do their own thing.
You can either return to the
barn for more studio shots, or continue outside.
During the course, you will get the chance to photograph all the
birds at the centre, and the birds selected specially for the
studio and flying sessions include; Barn Owl, Tawny Owl, Eagle Owl,
Common Buzzard, Harris Hawk, Saker Falcon, Lanner Falcon, Kestrel,
Hooded Vulture, Bald Eagle.
