YHA Langdon Beck is a small, rural hostel located in the heart of Upper Teesdale, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, in County Durham and stands at 385 meters above sea level.
The hostel was purpose built in 1965 after fire destroyed the original building in 1963.
This hostel provides accommodation to a variety of people including walkers, cyclists, canoeists, bird watchers, flower spotters, school and youth groups, and families.
We are quarter of a mile from the Pennine Way, just past the half way point (travelling south the north).
they have 33 beds split across eight bedrooms, all of which have views overlooking the hills of the North Pennines.
