We have undergone extensive refurbishment to upgrade and improve their guests facilities following flooding in December 2015.
Some works continue as they install stunning 1st floor balconies overlooking Latrigg and Skiddaw, as well as a purpose-built luggage store and cycle store.
This town centre Youth Hostel has excellent access to the North Lakes Fells, and easy access to the amenities of this busy tourist town.
For cycling, the hostel is perfectly placed on long distance routes the Coast 2 Coast and End to End and for roadies, Honister Newlands and Whinlatter Passes are close by as well as the family friendly Railway Trail to Threlkeld.
Overlooking the River Greta and Fitz Park with far reaching views to Latrigg and Skiddaw, YHA Keswick has small rooms with 2-6 beds.

Less than five minutes' walk to the town centre and ten minutes' walk to the Lake, YHA Keswick is ideally places for days out.
Take the launch across Derwentwater and climb Catbells before an evening stroll through the town to Friars Crag to enjoy the view down the lake.
The hostel also makes a great base for a walk up Skiddaw
