Outdoor Experience Days: Enjoy a day of adventure during this Packhorse Picnic in the Lake District.
The day begins with an introduction to the beautiful horses that will be carrying the day's picnic for your group.
You will follow along part of an ancient pack horse route with stunning views of Rydal Water.
Starting at the foot of Lourghrigg, your picnic adventure will walk you along an ancient packhorse route where you will create connections with horses that will teach you to recognise and regulate your emotions.
Your full day adventure will also introduce you to bushcraft skills where you will learn to thrive and survive in the natural environment of the Lake District.
You will then enjoy your picnic which will be cooked on an open-fire, before an invigorating wild swimming session and the final walk back to base.
