Experience Days Art Classes: This half day London ice sculpting class is an absolutely
fantastic way to spend an afternoon, as you while away the hours
creating something beautiful.
Ice sculpting is an art form that is
all about creating beauty, even if that beauty is fleeting.
During this three hour ice sculpting lesson, you will have the
opportunity to create two beautiful ice sculptures, with one being
totally yours, from idea to design to finished product! This is a
great way to flex your creative muscles, and it’s a great activity
for couples or groups (particularly as a team building
exercise).
The instructors are expert ice sculptors who will guide you through
the process and help you wherever you need it, but really the day
is all about having fun and challenging yourself, trying something
completely different, and making something beautiful!You will
arrive at the London ice sculpture studios and begin your sculpting
session with a full safety briefing, as well as an introduction to
the history and the art of ice sculpting.
After the briefing, your
expert sculptor instructors will give you a tour of the ice
sculpting studio, so you can see where the magic happens! They will
then give you a step-by-step lesson on the core kills necessary for
ice sculpting, as you watch and copy, creating your own ice
sculpture!
You will then have the chance to really get your creative juices
flowing as you create your own totally original ice sculpture,
doing everything from the concept to the plan to the actual making
of the art.
Of course, the expert instructors will be on hand to
help and encourage you if and when you need it.
At the end of the
session, your ice sculpture will be appraised by the experts, and
you can take some photos to immortalise your temporary
masterpiece!
