Your experience begins when you meet up with your group and your instructor at the reservoir.
With its calm blue waters and backdrop of lush green hills, Lliw Reservoir makes for a tranquil place to get to grips with kayaking.
Your instructor will explain everything you need to know about your time out on the water, and set you up with a buoyancy aid and wetsuit, if you choose to rent one.
They will give you a safety briefing, and explain the basics of the sport.
