Join an experienced instructor for a 60-minute slinging session, and learn to throw flying angels and tomahawks safely and accurately.
Lessons take place outdoors, at the region’s premier outdoor activity centre, just outside Macclesfield.
On arrival, you’ll be greeted by your instructor, who’ll begin with a short safety briefing—after all, these are pretty fearsome weapons! Next, they’ll demonstrate the proper technique for throwing the double-headed ‘flying angel’.
Once you’ve seen how the pros do it, it’s your turn! Take aim at the big wooden targets and let fly! After getting your eye in with the flying angels, you’ll move on to the slightly more challenging Native American tomahawks.
Your instructor will be on hand to offer advice and encouragement throughout the session, and with any luck, you’ll be hitting those bullseyes in no time! (Viking fancy dress optional).
