Bird Of Prey Experience Days: Eagles - they are big, beautiful and some are even bald! These
fascinating creatures are in a realm of their own and will
mesmerise you with their size and flying abilities.
This is not a
course for the faint hearted, as you will have the opportunity to
handle and fly the largest and most powerful Eagles.
Be captivated
as you will be getting up close and personal with several different
types of Eagle, each completely unique to the other in both
tendency, hunting and flying style.
With some of the largest
collections of Eagles around, you will have masses to see and learn
as you experience the incredible world of the Eagle.
You will arrive and be introduced to the Eagle specialist who will
guide you through your day.
You will be shown the many different
types of Eagle that are kept and cared for in the aviaries and be
introduced to the types you will be flying and handling throughout
the day.
These include The African Martial Eagle, The African
Bateleur Eagle, The African Tawny Eagle, The American Bald Eagle,
The European Eagle Owl and many more! Be prepared to hold your
nerve as some of these creatures are much larger and more
intimidating, and fly at speed that you wouldnt expect.
