What a brilliant way to see London. We went on the Portobello road tour as this is an area of London we have never really explored before. What a wonderful combination of history and food. Eddie was so friendly and knowledgeable and had selected interesting and unique establishments to visit to sample some of the local food. Would highly recommend any of the tours.

Having enjoyed food walking tours all over the world here we were enjoying one in our home city. Portobello Road on a lovely spring day is a great place to be and Eddie guided us expertly. He was knowledgeable with a sense of humour and had great skill in navigating the crowded streets. His food choices were really good and even included a refreshing gin and tonic. Safe to say we would have passed most of them by without a second glance. We'd have no hesitation in recommending this tour.

We were 8 friends celebrating a special birthday. We did the Portobello Road Tour with Eddie who was excellent, very friendly and very knowledgeable. He really wanted us to experience and understand the people that live and run businesses in the area. The local food was very tasty and the wine went down well at the end too. We were having such a nice time that we didn't realise we had over run by an hour. Highly recommend this tour.

My son & I thoroughly enjoyed Eddie's Portobello Tales tour including the markets & Notting Hill. Eddie provided a perfect blend of historic and modern day facts showcasing the evolution of Portobello & Notting Hill. Eddie's enthusiasm in sharing the neighborhoods was further enhanced by a selection of food tastings along the way. Eddie shared his favorite, and delicious, Venezuelan Cachaca, ham from Garcia's, decadent sweets & refreshing gin. He was thoughtful and shared photographs that we took along the way. We highly recommend Eddie's tours as a fun and unique way to enjoy London!

I had booked the Nottinghill tour for myself and my daughter and we were both really excited as we’d never been to Nottinghill before. Unfortunately on the day of our tour our flight was delayed and we knew we’d never have enough time to meet Eddie and the others. I called to explain our situation and Eddie was so kind, considerate and helpful. He offered a full refund and only after he had done that did he mention there was another tour the next day. I was so impressed with his customer service and we would’ve gone in the tour the next day but we already had plans. I will definitely book a tour with these guys next time I’m in London. It’s not often you get such excellent service, especially when you need a refund. Thank you Eddie. 🥰

This was our first food tour and what a find ! It was very easy to navigate the website and let dietary requirements be known as my husband is coeliac . All the food stops were yum and really enjoyed the gin and tonic at the distillery. Most of the food was gluten free and if not an even nicer alternative was supplied ! . Eddie was an amazing guide , he had a lot of fantastic history and information to share and he did so in an interesting and humorous manner ! He spent a lot of time chatting to us and was extremely friendly . My daughters age 22 and 18 really enjoyed it too. Some real hidden gems of information but don’t want to spoil the surprise. Book the tour and find out for yourself !

What a great afternoon. Despite the weather (it was raining all afternoon) we had a thoroughly enjoyable tour of Ladbrook Grove and Notting Hill. The history of the area was fascinating (and just went to show how little we knew of our own country’s history) and Eddie, our guide, brought so much of it to life. The Portobello food market was a revelation (so much to try, we’ll have to make a return visit) and I know know where ‘Portobello’ came from and why! The food on the route was all delicious and meant we didn’t need an evening meal. Eddie was a great guide and we look forward to trying one of the other tours that the company run! Highly recommended, just be prepared for the weather!!

Who knew walking in the rain in London could be so much fun. Our guide Eddie told us wonderful anecdotes about the houses, food on the streets and people of Portobello Road and Notting Hill. Tasting delicious Venezuelan street food to sophisticated Melt chocolate. There was a treat at every corner it seemed and I can’t wait to go back and try out the “Books for Cooks” . Thank you for showing us these gems of London !

Really enjoyed the whole experience. Eddie was very responsive in the booking process, very personable and informative, and managed the logictics of the whole thing very well (i.e. getting us into the right places, served easily, photo opps, etc). The food / drinks offerings provided were a good complimentary mix. As a small group of friends who know London in general, this was a lovely way for us to have a fun get-together alongside learning more about an interesting area of the city that we had been unfamiliar with. We'll be back!

We had been on the Bermondsey tour in 2023 so wanted a different experience. We were not dissapointed either with this tour! Eddie is a very knowledgable guide who mixes history with culinary experience. The shops/stalls we visited were all very welcoming and offered excellent food and drink! Special thanks to Luigi in Franklins who supplied excellent wines and coffee! Only 1 tour left to experience and we will certainly be on the East End Tour very soon. These tours are a great insight into the areas you visit and with the food and drink supplied are great value for money!

I joined Eddie on Walk Eat Talk Eat's Notting Hill tour during a short London stop-over in late September, and I'm so glad I did! Not only was the tour a great way to enjoy some fresh air, get some exercise, and of course eat and drink some delicious things, it was also an excellent opportunity to learn a lot about a neighborhood in London I wasn't familiar with. Eddie was an enthusiastic and engaging guide, the group was fun, and the variety of foods we sampled was impressive, from Venezuelan to Spanish to fancy chocolates. I'm definitely looking forward to another Walk Eat Talk Eat tour the next time I'm in London!

Brilliant tour, brilliant guide, brilliant time! We were a private group of 7 on the Portobello tales tour. The communication from beginning to end was excellent from Eddie - he is so accommodating, helpful, informative & so friendly. We met him outside of Ladbrooke Grove tube station, he introduced himself, cracked a few jokes and started the tour. It was honestly fantastic. All of the members of the tour thoroughly enjoyed the history, the food, the drinks & the passion from Eddie - he is very good at what he does & so very knowledgeable! The iPad with the little videos really brought the tour to life and it was interesting to see how it was years ago. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone and everyone - I’ve not stopped talking about it since we got home. Thanks so much Eddie, we will definitely be back soon :)

We ate and tasted a ton of great food - hard to stick to just one favorite, though the Venezuelan street food was the most unique we tried. I reached out to Eddie directly to book our tour and we had a delightful time. We learned the history of the area, and tried lots of different fun foods. Eddie helped customize our stops given I have 14 year old eaters --which meant more sugar! He was on time, personable and lovely to walk and talk to. You could tell he knew his history and had great relationships with the various street vendors and the places we visited. One of most memorable experiences in London. Highly recommend! He is great with all ages - and will find a way to engage everyone!

Overall, we were disappointed by this tour. The food choices were very minimal, leaning towards sweets, though we did enjoy the Venezuelan meal and the chocolate truffles. More importantly, the time management was poor so we ended up having to stay longer than listed to finish, which made us late to something else. We sat at the gin stop for a really long time because the distillery was having issues printing out order tickets, but the tour guide seemed oblivious to that. Other times, he walked REALLY fast - his pacing was just off. Also, the tour is described as presenting an opportunity to see two different Banksys, but our tour guide forgot the first one and didn’t even know about the second one until I mentioned it. I know he doesn’t normally do the tour that we were on – he does other ones – but it was just overall disappointing as compared to other food tours we have done.

Our Walk Eat Talk Eat food tour was a difinite highlight of our trip to London! Eddie was the best. His knowledge of the history of the area and choices of exceptional food tastings couldn't have been more enjoyable. His friendly, relaxed and passionate demeanor was just right. My sister and I had one of the best sweet buns we have ever had. Loved learning more about the Portobello food scene while sampling the hidden gems it has to offer. Thanks a bunch Eddie. I will definitely book again with Walk Eat Talk Eat on my next trip to London!

Really great food tour! Our group was small, only 3 others plus a trainee guide, which was perfect. Eddie is very knowledgeable about the area, telling good stories and connecting it all together. Yummy food (I think 5 items + a drink) and we covered a lot of ground in the Notting Hill/Portobello area. If I had more time I would have 100% booked another of the WETE tours in another neighborhood!

Eddie was a wonderful tour guide. He weaved history and food into an enjoyable three-hour tour of Notting Hill. He made sure that our tastes for the food and drinks were addressed at each stop. Our group was small, so we had time for interesting conversations about numerous subjects. We recommend the tour if you are looking to explore more of London than just the normal tourist locations. Two big thumbs up!
